Here are some cute things that I feel might make life seem very bright- even in London wind and rain. Lust Haves this week:
Im a sucker for Sweat pants & have been wearing the American Apparel ones for a few years, Im loving these ones from Deisel though, available at Asos for around £75. Below- The American Apparel- Jumper Pant, one of my favourites
More AA..It's true to say I own half or most of American Apparel, it's just so damn addicive, annonymous and goes with everything. These lace bodysuits are KILLING it. I want them both and I had to include lots of pics.
My other fixation is Vivienne Westwood shoes, these Napolean boots are not cheap, but are so divine, I had to include them. I have the over the knee versions from last year. They look amazing, but are pretty hard to walk in! These babies retail at £480 and are available at Urban Outfitters.
If you feel like taking out a second mortgage or are married to a Coca Cola league footballer then these Louboutins are a pretty dope shoe. FYI: Primark have done a copy in black & grey, in stores now for £19.
I also want these heart tights, so cute and will go with everything. £10 at Urban Outfitters
Here are some more super- fly items I love this week: Shakuhachi Fringe Dress £165 Urban Outfitters
and something for the boys & girls..the Adidas Metro Attitude. Did you ever see such beautiful colours on a shoe? They make me happy just looking at them.

After I went to the Reebok Pump Party on Thursday I went off into the West End to spin for Mariah's Party at Jalouse nightclub on Hanover Square, London. There were about 400 people outside trying to get in alongside press & pappz & some of my fabulous friends who had really dressed up for the occassion. Statis and I had a bit of cheek from the jumped up guest lists girls who were getting their knickers in a twist busy doing nothing (seriously, if you cant handle your job of ticking people's names off a list- dont do it! :) until one very charming door guy let us through the rope chain- it was another matter trying to get my fabulous friends in, but thats a whole different story.
As I walked into the club, I could barely move to get my reocrds to the DJ booth it was so busy. The crowd varied from UK artists to choice fm & kiss radio dj's to chelsea bankers, tv presenters and Mariah fans. I kinda like a mixture of people, I think it makes a party more interesting, but one thing we all had in common was we were jammed in like sardines.
I bagsy'd myslef the step into the DJ booth (not even the actual booth!) and plotted there. The Dj's were given exacting instructions as to what records to play and what not to play- which is always the way with artist parties (no other female artists in competition with said artist etc, stick to hip hop and Rnb we were told, no house- apparently Mariah hates house) but I have never been one to stick to the rules, so I wanted to play for the crowd so that they enjoyed themselves. Most people were there just to catch a glimpse of Mariah or to do business, ei: be seen in the right places by the music industry, but there were some people who were just there to go to a cool party and have fun. Like the owner of Jalouse who wanted his members and crowd to have a great night. When I got there the resident DJ Hery Reph had already played and Shortee Blitz was already in full swing. Then the shouts from the door 'Mariah's coming Mariah's coming' were heard from the DJ booth and Shortee put on Mariah's 'Fantasy' remix.
Here is the video of Mariah coming into Jalouse- sorry about the quality, I was so squashed in the DJ booth! The funniest party of the night for me was Alan Carr girating on a table with his shirt undone to the waist:) love it
Mariah was coming... and so was her whole entourage, I didnt really recognise any of them except I saw my old friend Idris Elba in her section after they had all settled down- oh and Louis Walsh heh heh.. I have spun at a few things for Mariah and I think she seems like a very nice lady, I think the hype is all created by her PR, record companies & everyone else. But it seems to work- people love it. Mariah stayed around 45 minutes and was swept out as quickly as she came in and then off into a Rolls Royce Phantom and off home- I bet she stopped for a kebab on the way though :)
The club was actually more fun after all the commotion had calmed down and everyone else started to enjoy themselves. I span everything from Jay Z to Prince, Depeche Mode, New Young Pony Club, vinez Cartel & lots in beteween. I had a fun night. Shouts to Lance Lewis, Freddie & Anthony, the resident DJ's at Jalouse and all the people who came and showed me love. DJ NIKKI Beatnik xx

On Thursday night before I went to spin at Mariah's Party I went to the Reebok 20th Anniversary Party for the 'Pump'. The Reebok Pump was created in 1989 by Paul Litchfield and originally a basketball trainer, Pump had such impact that it's unique technology was quickly used by Reebok for their tennis, running and football trainers.

Last Tuesday I went to see my friend Sharon Preston who looks after business at Nails Inc in London to get my nails MINX'd. I know everyone has been doing this for ages in Videos & shoots, Gaga, Bouncy, Rihanna bla bla...I had made a few appointments and then not been able to make it, so I was excited to finally be able to metallic up my nails. When I got to the salon, Sharon took off all my nail polish and buffed my nails ready for the Minx nail art to go on. I chose the leopard print design, but there are literally hundreds to choose from. Sharon then expertly applied them to my own nails under a heated lamp which makes them stick to the nail. The whole process is very quick and should take about half an hour..here are the results. Get thyself down to any nail inc if you want to get some Minx applied, they come in some amazing colours and mine have lasted 6 days so far. I want pink leopard the next time. DJ NIKKI xx My friend Sharon Preston @Nails Inc, who did my nails!
Im spinning at the super club Jalouse alongside Henry Relph & Shortee Blitz, there is a whole heap of music Mariah doesn't like, so it should be interesting...I'm just going with Statis to have fun!
